40K: Imperial Knights – House Terryn And House Raven Rules
Imperial Knights are a Household name. Or at least, their Knight Houses have names, and you can find the rules for two of those Knight Houses inside.
That’s right, Imperial holds with knight house names are protected by Imperial Knights whose names are houses and Imperial houses are knight name hold take the pills Inspector Tiger, and today we have a look at House Terryn and House Raven’s rules. Let’s take a look:
via Games Workshop
First up we have the valiant knights of House Raven, whose relentless advances carry them across the battlefield, so that they may strike hard against the enemies of the Imperium, wherever they may be.
Yes with Relentless Assault, you can capitalize on the mobility of your knights. Positioning is key, because you’ll have your threat ranges increased–take a Knight loaded down with Heavy and Assault weapons and you can basically move and fire with impunity. A great way to keep the enemy at the distance you want them.
House Terryn takes a different approach to capitalizing on the mobility of their Knights.
They instead get to pick between 2 different d6 on their advance or charge rules. Which–comparatively it seems like the Relentless Advance of Raven is a little stronger… I mean yes being able to make sure you get off a charge could be really crucial because one of these Knights can put a serious beating on a unit with their stomping feet–but being able to keep your Knights in or out of range as needed seems like a better and more consistent advantage.
Either way, these are just two of the Knight Houses, I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of these in the coming days, so keep an eye out.
For now, what do you think of these rules? Which House will your knights be striding into battle under?
