40K – WFB – LotR Deep Thought: Great Models & Bad Rules

Hi all!

Lets have a bit of fun this Sunday morning. As we all know there is a certain amount of unevenness in the rules and minis that have come put over the years with Warhammer 40k, Fantasy, and LotR. With some minis being over 10 years old its just unavoidable.

Today’s topic is perhaps the bitterest fruit; those units which have fantastic minis you love to collect, paint and field, but underperforming rules.

What is the 40k, Fantasy, or LotR unit you love to have on the tabletop because its just beautiful, even knowing its probably not the best tactical choice?
