And now for your viewing pleasure, we present the second installment of Bell of Lost Souls’ critically acclaimed series: Arbites Conversions for dummies.
Begin this model the same as you did your Arbitrator. Greenstuff the elbows and knee pads.

The shield is a bit tricky. I had several left over from the Arbites bitz order from a while back. However, it is not too difficult to make your own by gluing two thin pieces of plasticard together, then taping them to a curved surface while the glue dries. When it is done, the two pieces are laminated together and will keep the curve shape. There are also some third party model companies that make riot shields that will work.

The shock/Power mauls is easy. Don’t tell anyone, but the shock maul bit is almost exactly the same as an ork stormboy stick-bomb. Just go ask your friendly neighborhood ork player if you can get a few (I’m sure he isn’t using them).

For the helmet, I went with the traditional Arbites look. I took the cadian helmet and saved down the sides, then rolled a small amount of greenstuff and placed it across the nose. I smoothed it out and, once dry, filed it smooth. Not perfect, but it looks pretty good. Unfortunately, it is easier said than done and it takes a steady hand and patience to get right.

Between you and me, I still think GW’s enforcers look better 😉
