Goatboy’s Weekly list – Wolf HQ’s are COOL!!
Today’s list is from a recent thought build for a local gamer with limited resources. He wanted to play some crazy Space Wolf concoction with a rather low model count. Here’s my plan…
I didn’t want to just go with LoganWing and decided to throw in 3 of the crazy HQ characters from the book into a list to see what might actually work. So without further ado here is the list.

So yeah this list is designed to try to go first. With Bjorn on the table you have a good shot. This is also designed to break those 2 objective mission games by giving you an objective. Remember you can always reroll the damage roll to try and get Bjorn to die. With Njal going first you have a good shot of causing Njal shenanigans pretty easily since you are going first and your powers will actually work.
The best thing is this army is small so you can easily spend a lot of time making it look pretty dang neat on the table top. Plus you have lots of options in creating this as each unit has a lot of ways to be very cool individually. You can also change out the set up on each of the Wolf Guard, this is just what I consider an optimum set up. Some combi flamers or combi plasma might be handy too.
Have at it gang. Its pretty untraditional, but there are lots of people out there who have unusual constraints on model count, existing collections, and so on – and even they deserve fun cool lists.
