Hello everyone, this is Falk from the Tabletop Fix. After I got into the BoLS Alliance, Bigred asked me if I would like to write a weekly news round-up for the systems not covered on a regular basis. Well, here we are with our first week’s offers for all you wargamers looking around for something a little different. To see all I’m talking about just click the links!

Wyrd Miniatures
Brand new today: the Malifaux november releases, including the miniatures from the Dreamer box, Alps, Daydreams,  Abuela Ortega, and most anticipated, Von Schill’s Freikorps box:

Warlord Games
The biggest recent news from Warlord Games was definitely the announcement of their new War in the Far East range. First will be the USMC, and I bet there will be Japanese very soon

More WWII goodness came with the new SS Artillery and in addition, they got a Halloween-Special out (two characters and a combined set of their german infantry with Mantic Zombies). They published pictures of 3-ups of the new british infantry and they released polish early war sharpshooters, too.

Beside a lot of WWII we saw new Thirty Years War sets for the Swedish and Dutch as well as a preview of their armored Pikemen and a mounted british officer from the crimean war.

Spartan Games
Here everything revolves around the upcoming Dystopian Wars, the new victorian Steampunk game.

We saw the first painted models and learned of the contents of the first wave. Additionally, they showed us the amphibious FSA landship, the cover of the rulebook and the game card deck.

Mantic Games
Mantic just announced the Dwarf Shieldbreakers and the Dwarf Army Set to be released later this month.

Additionally, the new Skeleton Archer upgrade kit is due on november 26th and the Liche King is up for pre-order. And with every order in november you will get a printed version of the Kings of War rules.

Ex Illis
Ex Illis just started shipping the massive Emissarius

And you can still get a 30 day free trial for the game!

And our first exotic of the week is Scibor’s Monstrous Miniatures, manufacturer of awesome Fantasy and SciFi-miniatures like these Goblin Veterans.

And if a weekly fix is not enough, head over to The Tabletop Fix for daily news about the hobby!

So, that’s the first Outside The Box. Let us know if you like it!
