Island of Misfit Toys – Holiday Game Challenge
So its Christmas week, and that means its a time of unbridled good cheer, shenanigans, and plenty of spiked eggnog. Its time to get together with some friends for some Island of Misfit Toys games. What’s that? Find out after the jump…
The rules are simple. Your miniatures work off of love (I learned everything I know from repeated viewing of Toy Story), and they all deserve their day in the sun. Some miniatures have been terrible for a long time, while others got the short straw through a rules change. But you bought each and every one and painted them up.
Your challenge is to make the most TERRIBLE legal list you can, call over your like-minded friends and throw down. Now try to win, don’t throw the game, but for Island of Misfit Toys games, losing simply means you created the more terrible list than your opponent and you get the bragging rights.
UPDATE: As several of the commenters have mentioned, try swapping armies and going for the win for even more hilarity!
So pull down those Pariahs, Sisters Repentia, Chaos Spawn, Roughriders, Skyrays, and all your other misfit toys and give them their day in the sun. Its lonely on that dusty shelf all year.
