Outside the Box 02-19-11
Here we go again, and we have a lot of news: Warlord Games, Infinity, Mantic Games, Wyrd Miniatures and Spartan Games! Additionally, a brand new preview from On the lamb Games and the coolest 15mm army I’ve ever seen (seriously, I’m going to buy them although I’m pretty sure I’ll never play with them :D). But see for yourself:
Warlord Games
Seems they are back on track, this week we got a new set of Swedish cavalry for the Pike&Shotte range, re-releases of the Humber Armoured Car and a ruined building corner as well as new Chindits:
And more details about the Dwarf King’s Hold-boardgame have been released and next week will be King’s Hold week in their blog, so we should have pics of the components next time.
Spartan Games
More Dystopian Wars news, of course (a lot of people are upset that there seems to be a lot of empty promises for all the UC and F:A-players out there…).
Spartan Games showed some scenery they are going to produce:
And they updated their release schedule, the next wave of nations will include the Covenant of Antarctica, the Russian Coalition, the Ottoman Empire and the League of Italian States. Mixed into this wave will be some releases for the Allied Nations ( Republic of France, Chinese Federation, Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Arabian Republic of Egypt and Socialist Union of South America). Sadly, still no Australian mercenaries.
I promised you a cool army? Well, what can be cooler than a an army of angry Gnomes? And army of angry Gnomes including Gnogres, of course! Splintered Light Miniatures just released these guys, and what can I say except “wantwantwant!”?
