The technology of today will be redefining wargames in the years ahead.  Take a look at this:

So basically we have the Cafepress or Etsy busines model linked to 3d printing.  There is already a Miniatures section, chock full of available for purchase stuff like these for example:

So now, anyone with a decent idea and some 3d-modeling skills can crank out thier own miniatures – and have a venue for selling them.  Interesting.

Tick, tock, tick tock, I hear the sound of the democratization of the wargames industry approaching. What do you guys think this can do for the industry?
