HOBBY: Quick and Effective Autumn Camouflage
Hi everyone, [So]Rice from Lazuli Miniatures Studios here to show you all how we paint some camouflage. The scheme is based off the WWII German Peadot but the colors are substituted with Oakleaf.
The first step is to basecoat the fatigues in Khemri Brown. This is followed by splotches of Blazing Orange.
To add the camouflage, Scorched Brown is applied over the Khemri Brown and the Blazing Orange in dots of varying sizes.
The same is done with Blazing Orange except over the Scorched Brown and the Khemri Brown.
The final step is to apply a wash of Devlan Mud and you are done!
Here is the finished squad that I painted and placed first with in Wargames Factory’s painting contest.
Here are some other models painted the same way. The snow camouflage is painted the same way except for with Skull White, Shadow Grey, and Codex Grey.
Thanks for looking, do you know of any other ways to paint fast and effective camouflage?
