NEWS: Warhammer gets into Slate
It’s always nice when the mainstream media takes a gander at our lovely hobby.
“It’s like playing chess with toy soldiers and using a textbook for rules,” says former Marine Samuel Corum, a combat photographer who served two tours of duty in Iraq.
It would seem that the Washington DC-based Slate reporter checked out the nearby NovaOpen and actually did a bit of research for the piece, with a good amount of time spent talking to various Servicemen.
And he’s correct, I have noticed over the years a much higher than average amount of Servicemen play the game – at least here in the United States. There’s also the anecdotal stories of Navy personnel with their much higher than average painted armies. I’ll let you all figure out that one.
~Its a nice piece, check it out. Have at it folks.
