Highlights:This week the cast is taking a close look at my absolute favorite Chaos Space Marine army, the Emperor’s Children! This week’s show runs a bit long at almost 4+, but it is 4 hours of Slaanesh awesomeness! They opened up the show with what they have been doing lately in gaming and the hobby. This included an apology from Chase on his rant of GW in episode 51.They then moved on to look at the latest news in the world of 40K, from Forgeworld to third party releases, new Dark Angels and much more.Next up in the ‘Librarius’, the crew delve into the world of excess as the cover the story of the Emperor’s Children! This included a detailed history of Fulgrim, the chapter’s rise from the point of extinction, their ethos and quest for perfection, and their fall to Chaos.
They also discussed some of the more noteworthy characters from the Legion, spending a lot of time on Lucius. After a lengthy segment, the cast moved on to the ‘Armoury’ where they teamed up to create a couple of Emperor’s Children lists.Jim and Kamil took on the 1850 point post Hersey list, and Chase and Christina built a 2000 point pre-Hersey list. Then, in the ‘Briefing Room’, the staff answered some questions from their fans. They closed out the show with the ‘Hobby Trenches’ where they discuss all sorts of ideas for an Emperor’s Children army, including tips for painting purple and pink, modeling, and much more!
Opinion:I first have to say that I have absolutely loved the additions of Christina and Kamil to the show; they really have something special going here with the cast! This could easily be my favorite episode of DSR EVER!While I have a love for my Necrons and Tyranids, of all of the stories I have found most interesting in the lore of 40K, it is that of the Emperor’s Children and the fall of Fulgrim! This was by far one of the most detailed and fascinating looks at this Legion. They covered everything you ever wanted to know including their full back story to Fulgrim, painting and converting the models, and list building for the Legion.I highly recommend this one, I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Opinion:The boys march through the codices of 40K moved on to a Codex near and dear to my heart. The Wolves are an army I put down after the Necron Codex dropped and I have been flirting with the idea of dusting them off, and this show has helped my decision making process. As usual, the boys do an admirable job at looking at the first part of the Codex and reviewing it.I especially like the looks at Codices as they have all really changed in the new edition.I am looking forward to their next show!

Opinion:Man was it good to have the 11thCompany back this week, two weeks without is just too long! While a bit of a shorter episode this week, it was still full of a lot of cool interviews. This week I found that Tactical Terrain Eric’s segment was the one that stood out, as we have watch the evolution of terrain in 6th, I am looking forward to what GW has in store for this year. Also, the interview with ‘Yakface’ was quite interesting. The INAT has become a staple of my gaming group, and hearing his reasoning for stepping down from it made sense.

Opinion:This week’s show was quite good, filled with a wide range of great topics.First, getting a double dip of Space Wolves coverage was a great treat for the week, and Dave and BJ did a really good job looking at the army. And with the rise of more Forgeworld on the tournament circuit, it was a nice refresher on some of the top units one might see.Check this one out!

Opinion:First, I need to apologize of the erroneous explicit ratting last time guys; it was typo on my part. However, you did earn it this time J!This show just released this week, so there were more detailed information out there on the Dark Angles, but considering when it was recorded, their coverage was pretty solid. The gem to this show was their look at the Imperial Guard in 6th.This I found most informative!
