40K: The Unbeatable List
Adepticon 2013 has come and gone but in the pre-Tau Empire world one 1850 list proves it’s the strongest.
First of all, a giant congratulations to Nick Nanavati for pulling off the win. Before we get to his list take a look at the army-allies composition of the final 16 (not in order of final placement):
The Top 16- Army Breakdown

Interesting list – don’t you think? There have been three 6th Edition books out, and while Chaos Marines seem to be regaining supporters fast, there was not a Dark Angels list to been seen in the top 16 and only one Daemons player (Goatboy). There is still a giant amount of Necrons out there, testifying to the power of 5th’s last remaining codex.
The Unbeatable List – 1850pts
Now onto the championship list: Enjoy everybody!
In general, the triple Annihilation barges, multiple Night Scythe embarked Warriors and a Lord + random accessories is the Necron force you should test against. You see it over and over.
~So what are your thoughts on that masterpiece of list construction? Are Tau going to able to shake up the meta enough to deal with lists like that?
