The tubes are all atwitter over the prospect of a gussied-up Warhammer 40,000 Mini-rulebook.  Here’s the details:

All the fuss is over this little image that popped up on Facebook yesterday:

Hmm, see anything interesting in there…

A lot of Lizardmen, some Hobbit items and … hey wait a minute…

WH40K GAMERS EDITION MINI-RULEBOOK
August 24th
$49.50

Now every other Gamer’s Edition were a bundle with carrying cases, templates, and all kinds of stuff stuffed in there.  It’s unknown if the product is the identical one from the Dark Vengeance box, or perhaps a fancier version.  But one’s thing’s for certain – a lot of gamers would be very happy to get access to a nice high quality mini-rulebook sized item to take to games night while not needing to buy Dark Vengeance.  Anything is better than lugging around the boat-anchor full sized 40K rulebook.

You will also note that that list goes up to fairly deep into August – right near when we expect Space Marines to drop.

As usual in these cases, I’ll leave the value proposition of this up to you – the consumer.
