X-Wing Battle Report: Firespray vs Wedge Antilles
The BoLS video battle reports continue – Today we bring you part two of the X-wing games designed to use ships and pilots easily obtained at stores around the world. Let’s see if Krassis Trellix’s Firespray can overcome Wedge Antilles!
It’s no secret that X-Wing has been a huge success for Fantasy Flight in terms of sales. However, this success has also brought the problem of keeping the game on store shelves, which has proved a challenge for Fantasy Flight.
While Wave 1 expansions are creeping back into stores with Wave 2 re-prints coming any time now, the only products that you can consistently find at game stores are core sets, the Millenium Falcon, and Slave-1. In response to this, a friend of mine and I decided to bang out a pair of video-recorded games with squadrons built from this rather limited selection. Enjoy!
