SHOWCASE: Bloodthirster Emerges by Isotope99
That’s right, its been a handful of weeks and that means Isotope99 has served up another fantastic model. Bloodthirsters do like to make Grand Entrances!
Get a load of THIS GUY!
First off, as with Isotope’s previous Sanguinius vs Bloodthister and Lord of Skulls-RaptorPrince, we have the same fantastic minimalist lightsourcing, the moody infernal palette, and the love of converting.
This guy is probably the easiest to convert of the three. We have a Space Marine statue from the terrain series, a lesser Forgeworld Daemon Prince, Hive Tyrant wings, and minor bits here and there.
The visual effect of the Bloodthirster blowing apart and emerging out of the statue is both simple and effective. You easily set up a narrative, add some action to the piece, enhance the height of model, giving it more visual weight and power, and get to hack up a giant marine to boot! You also get a base out of it as well – handy!
