Here come the Tyranids – All the latest gribblies are up on the GW Advanced Order page and available from retailers all over.

Codex Tyranids: $49.50
Harpy / Hive Crone$80.00

Harpies are monstrous bioforms that fly with a deftness and agility unattainable by even the most sophisticated fighter-craft. As they soar overhead, they rain clusters of living bombs onto prey worlds and spit death from their forelimbs. The Hive Crone is a flying monstrosity used by the Tyranids to establish air superiority over prey worlds. It is a creature perfectly adapted to aerial combat, able to wrestle enemy aircraft out of the skies.

Both kits share the same body and wings (including scything talons) with specific differences as detailed below.

The Harpy can be armed with either a twin-linked stranglethorn cannon or twin-linked venom cannon. There is a unique head featuring a long tongue and head crest and its carapace is distinguished by a series of vertical fins. The tail points upwards and spore mine cysts can be added to the rear of the model. There are also 3 separate spore mines included, each of which has a unique design.

The Hive Crone is distinguished by the delightfully disgusting, sack-fed drool cannon. The crest on its head also features a series of fins, whilst the body’s carapace sports a set of chimneys. There is also the option to add 4 tentaclids to the underside of the model.

Haruspex / Exocrine: $73.00

The Haruspex is a ferocious beast created to consume biomass at a sickening pace. It can devour an entire platoon of soldiers in a matter of moments, shovelling victim after victim into its jaws without pause. Exocrines are feared for their ability to deal death from afar. The Exocrine is purely a means of transportation for the bio-plasmic cannon nested into its flesh, a giant weapon able to unleash a vast ball of roaring energy, or several focussed streams of death from its multiple barrels.

Both kits share the same body, and rear and middle legs. Either version can also be armed with a thresher scythe tail biomorph.

The Haruspex’s most obvious feature is its grasping tongue that comes as part of an inside out stomach containing 3 sets of jaws. It’s also armed with a pair of crushing claws and has a horned head specific to this monster.

The Exocrine is armed with a massive bio-plasmic cannon that sits atop the creature’s body. It also comes with a pair of scything talons and has a unique head.
