Goatboy’s 40k Thoughts – What I played at Adepticon
I am writing about my Adepticon 40K List before I headed out to Chicago because I won’t be in till late on Sunday and I would rather watch Game of Thrones before I crash out. Let’s hit it!
I know I posted this list on my blog – but I just don’t get nearly the bile over there so I figured I would post it here for everyone to poopoo on. If I got 3-1 with it on day 1 I consider that a win. Heck if I got 2-2 through all the Deathstars then so be it too. If I lose every game – hopefully I had fun dance fighting my way through the dice. Still it will give me time to draw on bags, shop, and hang out before the grand Team Event. So with that – here is my list for what I call – Tournament Death Star/What you Wanted to Have Fun?
Chaos Daemons – No Fatewaver and another version of Get in the Van! I got Candy!
HQ: Warlord – Keeper of Secrets, Exalted Gift, Greater Gift, Lvl 3 Psyker
HQ: Lord of Change, Greater Gift X 2, Lesser Gift, Lvl 3 Psyker
Basically I like to play Slaanesh and Lash princes so I needed a Keeper. Plus I like the model I use for him/her (Khaine from the Dark Elves Cauldron of Blood). I went with a Lord of Change as a hunter for Wraithknights especially if I didn’t roll Iron Arm on the DP’s. Strength 8 Staff is pretty sweet when it gets Precog’d.

My basic troop choices. I like a lot of bodies as it is hard to remove them in one volley. Plus they can kill most big things you see around – MC’s, Basic Vehicles, etc. And they are fast as all get out to move around the table. And heck I have 60 painted so I might as well show off that I am crazy and like to paint uniboob monster lady boys.

I made two cool conversions for these guys so I like to use them. I won’t type out what I normally call them cuz the Ninos. But yeah I love these guys and plan on having fun as they fly around and cover you in Slaaneshy goodness. You will want to go to your doctor though.
Fortificaiton: Aegis Defense Line
Hey I can give my poor Daemonettes a chance when playing normal armies right? Meh – I really hate how the serpent shield always works. Anti Fluff jerk faces is what I say.
So yeah – no Fate, and mostly just Slaanesh. I went with this because I can have this army and my team army all in once case. Makes things a lot easier to fly with. So yeah – will write up what will most likely only be 4 games on Friday for another post next week. Plus I plan on doing some interviews with some painters I like and try to get that going. There is too much stuff out there that influences me and I would love to talk to people why they keep having me build stupid models all the time.
And yeah – poo on all those Death Stars. I guess I just don’t want to win that bad eh? Hahaha.
