What carries 20 troops, is tough as nails and is armed to the gills?  Chimeras galaxywide shudder in shame!

via Forgeworld:

SOLAR AUXILIA DRACOSAN ARMOURED TRANSPORT

£76.00

The Dracosan Armoured Transport is manufactured to standards only usually required of war machines destined for service with the Legiones Astartes. It is large enough to accommodate a full strength Solar Auxilia Infantry Section of twenty auxiliaries, and heavily armoured enough to protect them from intense enemy fire.

Equipped with a fearsome array of weapons of its own, including either a powerful twin-linked lascannon or a mighty demolisher cannon at the expense of some of its transport capacity, the Dracosan can steadfastly defend itself against enemy counter-attack and pound an adversary’s emplacements to dust before those on board disembark to storm what remains of their objective.

The Solar Auxilia Dracosan Armoured Transport is a complete multi-part resin kit, designed by Phil Stutcinskas. The kit includes weapons options for the vehicle and an optional gunner with a choice of either a multi-laser or heavy flamer.

This model is available to pre-order now and will be despatched from Thursday 30th October.

SOLAR AUXILIA TANK CREW

£16.00

The multi-laser’s range, strength and rapid rate of fire makes it a formidable secondary weapon of choice for the tank crews of the Solar Auxilia since the beginning of the Great Crusade. Adding its firepower to that of their tank’s main weapons has helped turn the tide on countless war zones the Imperium has fought across.

The Solar Auxilia Tank Crew is a complete multi-part resin kit containing three models, designed by Edgar Skomorowski and Rob Macfarlane. The set also includes two multi-lasers and a heavy flamer. The crew models will fit most Solar Auxilia tanks, including the Valdor Tank Hunter and Malcador variants.

These models are available to pre-order now and will be despatched from Thursday 30th October.

The thing that is really cool about the Solar Auxilia, is the Imperial army fought on both sides of the Heresy, so having a third army (Astartes/Mechanicum/Solar Auxilia) to throw into the 30K mix will open up the tactics and weapon options for all the legions.
For example, things like Iron Warriors shatterstorm heavy bolter rounds which make no difference vs Astartes have quite the effect vs the Imperial Army.

~As a Malcador fan, it’s nice to see the Solar Auxilia get some love.
