They say truth is stranger than fiction. One UK MP is in a lot of hot water thanks to Warhammer. You HAVE to see this!

South Ayrshire Councillor plays Warhammer game while he should have attended crucial vote

Douglas Campbell should have been voting on the Heathfield Retail Park plan but instead was taking part in a fantasy battle.

The most senior councillor in South Ayrshire was caught in fantasyland – while his collleagues were voting on the future of Ayr.

SNP opposition leader Douglas Campbell had suddenly left the vital meeting without saying where he was going.

But as they knocked back a crucial element of the multi million pound Heathfield Retail Park expansion, he was huddled round a table with other men playing fantasy war games.

Campbell, a councillor for an astonishing 27 years, was refusing to quit this week despite snubbing the people…

Long story short, the MP ducks out of a vote claiming family issues, then is caught playing Warhammer later that day and the excuses start to pile up…

But I have a little sympathy (I think)… We’ve all had those “can’t miss” games.
