Warmachine Masters : 2015 Rules are Here!
If you haven’t heard the new masters pack is out and it is loaded with new goodies.

What changed?
SPECIALISTS , SPECIALISTS EVERYWHERE!!!
So, now instead of taking 3 different lists you are limited to 2. However, there is now a list of 4 casters + new releases coming out in the next couple months that can also be included for each faction. If you build your 2 lists using this special list of casters you get the advantage of 20 points of specialists. For those that haven’t used specialists, you get a sideboard that can be used to switch out units/models. This can be a big advantage because specialists are declared AFTER casters have been declared. This means if your opponents is not using specialists you get to know his list before you have to truly lock in your own.
For example, Cryx can have a unit of blackbane ghost raiders in his sideboard. If the opponent is playing a shooty khador lists with no Lady Aiyana and Holt they have little means to deal with the incorporeal pirates. It gives a lot of leeway and gives some of these lesser used casters the advantage they need to take on some of the more well-known heavy hitters.
Now these casters are not necessarily the cream of the crop. Cygnar stable for example is Kara Sloan, Nemo 1, Stryker 1, and Connie B. Not exactly your Haley2/Caine2 wombo combo. I am a huge Nemo fan so, any reward to play him is quite tempting. Definitely has caused me some dilemma in list building as I wrote my LVO lists.
Master now use the same scenarios and objectives that steamroller does. These objectives are now choosen instead of set, so that alone can give a lot of thought into list building. If your jacks are charging for free you might try to fit in another one since you will have some more focus to throw around. My personal favorite is the light artillery boosted damage. I have a lot of dumb ideas I want to try with that one. Hunters Grim w/ thumper cannons, yes please!
Anything to bring the non cookie cutter net lists out of the bag I think is a good change. Also, anything that might let me dodge Bradigus Tier4!
