Regicide, the strategy game based on chess set in the classic Warhammer 40,000 Universe from Games Workshop is an adaptation of ‘Regicide’, a board game described from the Warhammer 40,000 universe with similarities to the M2-era chess; played by mankind for over thirty-eight thousand years. Regicide blends board-game strategy mechanics with dynamic tactical abilities. Regicide set for launch in Q2 2015, is easy to learn, but difficult to master – think outside the board and explore a new take on the rules of traditional chess: command different races with unique abilities, fight for varied game objectives, and call in strikes from off the board as you face off in multiple game modes. Battle across a single-player Blood Angels’ campaign. Challenge opponents worldwide in both ‘Regicide’ and ‘classic’ matches online, with ELO-rated stats and several game modes.
