After Action Review

After playing with PHR for a while now, I forgot just how fast and aggressive the Scourge can be. My armor block got into position and won out on too many activations, and before the UCM armor could respond it had been annihilated. The Prowlers did their job perfectly, cutting into the enemy formations and forcing those high-value shots to pick them off instead of focusing on the more important targets.

By the time the smoke cleared, the UCM just didn’t have any way to get their objectives off the table. Their infantry dwindled away very quickly, though it seemed that he had a significant number of soldiers plying the table. Perhaps in the future he would be better served with more infantry, though I think his balance was very similar to mine.

The Scourge infantry are great workhorses, killing several armored vehicles and assisting in bringing a building down early. Add to that the Desolator, and even small games give Scourge a good chance to approach the denial tactic. I’ve never much used the Desolator for damaging buildings, but he did a superb job at it. Still, I need to pick up an Oppressor and actually give it a try in some of these smaller games!

Have at it Dropzone generals. What tactics would you have used in our shoes? What units would improve the lists? Tell us in the comments below!
