40k: The Deadpool Army Part Two – the 4th Wall

Do you like the fourth wall?  Too bad!!  Here is my latest commission – The Deadpool Army comprised of Elysian Imperial Guard.

There is something delicious about saving that last bit of painting for the very end – adding freehand and flavor to an army.  This one gave that in spades.  The merc with a mouth was the perfect candidate for a themed army and I was very excited when the client said to go wild with this one.  While I do love Deadpool, a good amount of research and notes were made loooking for freehand inspiration and funny phrases to add to the vehicles.
