FFG has pulled the covers off of the third installment in their “The End of the World” RPG – Alien Invasion
Fantasy Flight Games has been cranking out their 4-part “The End of the World” RPG series, and today part 3 was unveiled. For those who aren’t familiar, each book takes a popular apocalyptic genre and provides a set of RPG scenarios and structures to let you stage an RPG adventure in whatever flavor most appeals to you.
Earlier books in the series were: “Wrath of the Gods” for you who like your Elder God end times scenarios and crowdpleaser “Zombie Apocalypse“. Today’s “Alien Invasion” offers 5 basic flavors of the little green men coming to blow away humanity for your RPGs needs:
- The Greys may suddenly attack from their cities on Mars after the Curiosity rover is interpreted as an overt threat of war.
- The Atlanteans who dwell far beneath our oceans may rise to the surface and enact their plan to drown the entire world.
- Alien spores may infect people and create identical copies to kill and replace their original hosts.
- Asteroids may strike Earth, carrying massive, ant-like aliens that attempt to turn the world into one of their colonies.
