Spartan Games: October 2015 Releases
Spartan Games is cranking up the Firestorm for this October. Two new factions join the battle and Planetfall gets some new units!
The new Terquai and Xelocians factions for Firestorm Armada are getting new boxed sets. All the major Firestorm Planetfall factions are also getting new Ground Attack Helixes designed to destroy ground forces or weaken them enough for your troops to move in and mop-up.

October is all about the Firestorm Galaxy as Spartan Games ships exciting new boxed sets for Firestorm Planetfall and Firestorm Armada.
With the introduction of Ground Attack Helixes, Firestorm Planetfall commanders gain the ability to obliterate ground-based enemy forces and defensive structures, allowing you to then move in with waves of armoured units to secure victory.
Two more forces enter the fray in Firestorm Armada. The Terquai are one of only a few human populations to live under alien governance. With such vast borders to patrol, they embrace a multi-function strategy for their military. The Xelocians were an ancient power of great wealth, but a cataclysmic event in their home system has left this race roaming the stars. To survive, military commanders have turned their vessels into pure weapons of blunt force trauma.

The Firestorm universe has been relatively quiet lately due to the fact that Spartan has just launched their new Halo: Fleet Battles game. It is great to see all the things they have been working on coming out in October. The Firestorm universe is really growing and the possibility to launch linked games from Space Fleets all the way down to ground squads is pretty epic sounding. Time to start researching a good campaign system to support it all!
