Savage Hordes Invade Kickstarter
Mierce Miniatures is on Kickstarter looking to fund their latest Darklands expansion – come check it out!
Mierce Miniatures, perhaps best known for their amazing BaneBeasts range of gigantic monster miniatures, is no stranger to Kickstarter. They’ve successfully funded and delivered several projects in the past, and now they are back with the Darklands: Savage Hordes campaign. This campaign seeks to fund the Savage Hordes expansion book for their Darklands skirmish game, as well as four new ranged support-focused starter boxes.
The campaign was fully-funded fairly early on and is now unlocking stretch goals. The most basic pledge is £10 and exists mostly so you can pick and choose add-ons. The £30 pledge gets you the new expansion book, and you can start getting starter boxes at £60 and up. In addition to starter boxes and rulebooks, the campaign is also offering custom dice and token packs.
Set in a dark fantasy version of 650s Europe, Darklands is a D10 skirmish game that features some of the most ridiculously huge monster miniatures the hobby has ever seen. Mierce Miniatures has been making high quality (and expensive) resin miniatures for some time now and is focusing all their attention on creating the Darklands setting and tabletop game. I’ve never bought any of their miniatures, but have always admired them. Maybe at some point I’ll get into Darklands because I’d really like to own some of the amazing models in their range.
Do you own any Mierce minis or play Darklands?
