Hey all! Bahkara here for another week of reviews. A wide range of topics this week so lets get on with it!

After Ullanor Epiosde 0902 – Part 2 of Greg and Dave’s coverage of the Horus Heresy book “Mechanicum”. As always a very good coverage of the rest of the book. I am glad they were able to turn this one around fairly quickly. Not because I need the free content, but because I actually read along with the episodes. I enjoyed the way they are able to discuss their differences in interpretation of some of the passages and that it wasn’t just them parroting each other in affirmation. Again, if you’re interested in a well thought out discussion of the Horus Heresy books, give them a listen.

Masters of the Forge Episode 38 – In keeping with the Mechanicus theme the guys actually begin a 3 part episode about the Adeptus Mechanicus. In this first part they give a brief overview of the organization and talk about the book “Skitarius”. As always, as they give you an overview of the book, they also give you possible scenarios to play inspired by the book. Always a good resource if you’re looking for something new in your missions or if you have a Skitarii army and would like a few more army specific scenarios.

…And the Rest!

Eye of Horus Episode 33 – After their normal segments the host talk with a couple of the creators of Epic Horus Heresy. They talk about the game, how it got started, the ways they maintain it and how you can get involved. If you are interested in 30K but do have the money to build a 28mm Horus Heresy Army you may want to give epic scale a look.

Life After the Cover Save Episode 155 – Ed and Blake talk to Chung from the Wargamers Consortium. They discuss  the origins and purpose of both the creator and the website and also their plans for the future. They end it with a very enjoyable “Filthy Fifteen”

Imperial Voxcast Episode 129 – I mention this episode because it’s a sign that they are still around. The guys take a bit of a departure from their normal type of talk. They talk about the narrative games that they plan on playing and gives you a few ideas on how to play a short narrative campaign.

Signals from the Frontline – Always a good listen for new and rumors on 40K and other games in the industry.
