There’s a palpable electric buzz in the air as GW fans prepare for the big unveil from GW Saturday of Horus Heresy: Betrayal at Calth. What may be the product of the year for GW has been rumored since as far back as February and some last minute preparations are underway.
Forgeworld is teasing a big unveil tomorrow…
According to this morning’s email blast, Games Workshop looks to be debuting the new Heresy box this Saturday the 11th in their stores. A GW employee, seaking anonymously, said all of their retail stores were shipped a Betrayal of Calth box set Thursday, and told to have it fully ASSEMBLED AND PAINTED by open Saturday. So expect to see red-eyed exhausted shaky-handed GW retail staff over the next few days.
Then we have this sighting of some of the launch swag by Forge the Narrative (Facebook). Look for tons of these items all over the place during the launch in addition to the Heresy Marines pins in this week’s White Dwarf.
