It looks like Games Workshop is bundling up for a long holiday season. And it also looks like they are expecting a cold winter, staying in doors and using ALL the paints.

We are also getting a boat-load of different paint sets and a handful of paints also got a new style of paint pot:
It’s larger and it looks like it’s mostly the “Shade” line – ie, the washes. This is great news for anyone with a new project on the horizon. I can’t be the only person who would buy an extra pot or two of shade just to be on the safe side. Nothing worse than running out of it when you’re in the middle of painting a miniature!
This weekend seems to be a setup for Games Workshops “Buying Guide” for non-war gamers. There are a TON of paint sets and army color bundles coming out, random “gift ideas” and a few more terrain/army bundles. We aren’t seeing any new models – other than the awesome Forge World Leviathan Dread. Maybe they are just hoping not to crowd the official Betrayal at Calth Release day. Perhaps this is just the calm before the storm…
