Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade, an incredible new action combat experience for Game Workshop’s legions of fans and the first game shown on the iPhone 6s during the Apple Special Event to debut 3D Touch gaming, will arrive this month(November), developer Pixel Toys confirmed today in a new gameplay trailer ‘Freeblade: Allies & Abominations’
Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade will be one of the first games truly optimised for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, with 3D Touch control mechanics; the game will also available for iPhone 5 and 6, iPad 3 and above, and iPod touch 6th gen and above.
Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade serves up an exclusive in being the first Warhammer 40,000 game on any platform that enables gamers to take command of an Imperial Knight, a colossal armoured war mech, and let rip with an armoury of heavy weapons in the grim darkness of the far future.
With the Imperial Knight’s noble house destroyed by the twisted forces of Chaos, they join forces with the Dark Angels Space Marines chapter as a Freeblade Knight and begin a journey of honour, redemption and vengeance.
Set to deliver instinctive and intense 3rd-person shooter combat action, players take command of their Imperial Knight through a 40+ mission campaign, complete with additional dynamically-created Patrol missions. Players can customise and equip their Imperial Knight to create an unstoppable war mech, ready to blast through richly-detailed destructible environments and battle with deadly enemy forces from the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Complete with a versatile loot and crafting system, players can forge, upgrade and customise their Imperial Knight as the campaign progresses.
