Color me impressed – Those box sets do look like a really good deal! Some of them do look a little “phoned in” (looking at all you “boxless” bundles) but the vast majority see to meet a very targeted need: being able to play right out of the box! Plus the majority of them also come with a formation datasheet so you really can play right out of the box – well done Games Workshop.
As a long time player, I was seriously considering picking-up that ‘Nid box (and I certainly don’t NEED more Tyranids) because it’s a sweet deal & you get that formation. But then I started remember how I really wanted to start an Ad Mech army…
As if millions of wallets suddenly cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced…
