This Week’s Podcast Reviews 2/20-2/26
Hey all, Bahkara here for another week of reviews! This week we have a couple interviews, both involving the same guy but about 2 different topics! With that little tease, let’s get on with the article!
Combat Phase Episode 133 – The first of two interviews released this week, the guys talk to Gav Thorpe. the discuss his involvement with the creation and maintaining of the Dark Angels background throughout the years. They discuss the different way he goes about writing the Dark Angels and how the secret of the legion has affected them throughout the last 10,000 years. A very good and informative listen with good insight to one of the primogenitor legions.
Mob Rules Episode 17 – Second podcast with an interview with Gav Thorpe. In this interview they mainly focus on the Orks. Very nice interview about his thoughts and work on the greenskins. Sound quality is much improved over the first interview they had with him.
Preferred Enemies Episode 120 – The next installment in the “Start collecting” series. After the normal segments, they talk about Space Wolves. They once again go over the fluff reasons you may want to play the army and discuss the new models that were released on top of the Wulfen. They also go into the basic rules for the army as a whole and explain how they work. I’m not going to lie and say that, for me, it is becoming a bit tedious. Still informative, if a bit dry. Hopefully they will break it up a bit a do other topics then come back around to the series. I would still highly recommend for those that are thinking about starting a Space Wolves army.
Signals from the Frontline – Always a good listen for new and rumors on 40K and other miniature games in the industry.
