Overall a very very busy week of Warhammer 40,000 releases after a month of Age of Sigmar. The standouts are the 30th Anniversary Marine and the Index Astartes Apocrypha book, giving newcomers a chance to walk through 30 years of background in a very well priced format.
In general it looks like following the path of recent Age of Sigmar publications, GW is trying out the softcover $33 pricepoint for 40K books. I think it will do quite well for them, and brings them almost exactly in line with Privateer Press’ softcover book pricing. I know that personally I will be picking up many more books at the $33 level than the previous $55 hardcover level.
