The Rules for the Horus Heresy Plastic Kits have been spotted in this week’s White Dwarf – Check these out!
We saw the rumors and confirmations earlier. Now we have a good look at the rules coming from this weekend’s White Dwarf. If you’ve already got a copy of The Angels of Death book then these might look familiar…

If you skipped Angels of Death now you can pick-up rules for these units in White Dwarf #128.
With the return of these individual kits it’s now going to be really easy to fill out a Horus Heresy Era Army. You could just opt for a box of Betrayal at Calth if you wanted to save some cash, but if you only need a single unit then spending $50-$65 for a box is still less money than dropping $150 on a full BoC boxed set.
I’m really hoping that this is just the first wave of many, many more boxed sets for the Horus Heresy. I’d love to see a classic Rhino kit or other vehicles come over to plastic. However, I don’t think it will happen due to GW not wanting to cannibalize sales from Forge World. The Contemptor kit is already 100% compatible with the FW arms and the Marines have tons of upgrades to legion specific items. These kits seem like a gateway to go from GW plastics to FW resin kits.
What’s your take? With the rules out are you more or less likely to grab a single box of these new kits?
