40K: New League Kit Inbound
Games Workshop has a new League Kit heading your way – It’s time to dive into battle with your Local Community!
Warhammer 40,000 is getting a new League Kit to run for this Fall/Winter. Organizers will have a plethora of options for events to run and that’s only a good thing in my book. Who doesn’t like Organized Play support?

Participating stores are going to get a poster, badges, certificates, activity sheets and more if they opt in. It’s really just fun swag to give to players and to generate interest in playing – nothing wrong with that!
From the looks of this sheet, the pack will have 8 different activities players can jump into. I’m liking the “Variant Tournament System” for Kill Team and the focus on Multiplayer matches. That’s a great way to get new players into the game and perfect for keeping veterans engaged.
The Kill Team size of things is certainly getting lots of attention – and it should! It’s a fast, fun and enjoyable way to get games in. It also makes perfect sense for league play…This really reminds me of Necromunda but with 40k forces instead of gangers. And also less charts…
Seriously, this is great! These rules are “Necromunda-lite” and they allow you to play “Kill Team With Consequences” – That’s a great combination. Reading through this I can’t help but get excited for this kit to hit my local store because this is one league I want to make time for.
If you haven’t given Kill Team a go, you really should. It’s like 40k concentrate – all the fun, none of the bloat. You can check out our Tabletop Spotlight HERE.
40K League Support?! What’s next a Summer Campaign? (Oh man, I hope so…)
