Burning of Prospero: Model Showcase
Want to see what the models look like up close? We’ve got you covered!
Presented without commentary or color, come see what the mdoels look like fully assembled in their bare plastic state:
Assembly on these models was pretty smooth. The Mk III models are one of the best Marine Armor kits ever produced by Games Workshop. Because of the way Games Workshop cut-up the “wrist/bolter/open hand set” you can almost line up the arms perfectly without the bolter hand. It’s hard to explain without showing a step-by-step guide, but if you’ve ever built a marine and had an issue with the “bolter-hands” lining up then you have an idea of what I mean.
Aside from that Games Workshop has once again managed to fit these models on the sprues in ways that allows them to 1) fit a ton of bits on the spure and 2) hide the cut lines post assembly. There is a reason other miniatures get compared to Games Workshop so frequently – at least in terms of manufacturing.
Here are some screenshots for those of you who may not be able to see the video, but you’re going to want to check these out later in full motion.

The Story
On Prospero, the psykers of the Thousand Sons face the ultimate censure for their forbidden studies. The Primarch Leman Russ is sent to punish them by any means necessary – at his command, fire rains from the skies as his Space Wolves fleet bombards Prospero over and over, reducing the world of the Thousand Sons to ash. Tizca, city of glass pyramids and golden hopes, is protected from the fires by a vast force field of telekinetic power. So it is that the Space Wolves bring the Sisters of Silence, anti-psykers anathema to all who channel the Warp, and the Custodian Guard, shining heroes who are the elite blades of the Emperor himself to Prospero, there to attempt the riddance of the Thousand Sons forever.
