GW: Armies On Parade Day
Games Workshop Hobby Fanatics – it’s your time to shine! Armies on Parade Day is HERE!
October 15th is here and that means it’s Armies on Parade Day at your local Games Workshop store. Armies on Parade is a Yearly tradition for Games Workshop where they invite Hobbyists into their stores to show of their awesome armies. It’s a celebration of the collecting and painting of all things Games Workshop. For some, it’s perfect excuse to start a new army, for others it’s time to really show off their hobby skills. The only real restriction is that your army needs to fit on a 2′ by 2′ area – so some Hobbyists really go bananas with their displays!
If you’ve been hard at work on your army/display – good luck to you with your entries. If you weren’t able to finish in time or if you just want to get inspired by your fellow hobbyists stop by a GW store and take it all in!
Need help finding a participating store? Check out Games Workshop’s Store Finder HERE. Other Questions about the Event? The FAQ is HERE.
We’ve covered some of the armies on their website before but here’s a quick reminder of some of the awesome that hobbyists aspire to create:
Daemons of Slaanesh, by Owen Patten
Tyranid Invasion, by Mark Bedford
The Legions of Nagash, by Dan Harden
Orks, by Andy Keddie
There are LOADS more entries on the Official Armies on Parade Website – if you can’t make it to a store at least go take a look at some of amazing entries. I don’t know about you folks, but I can’t wait to see what my local community has put together this year. Good luck to all the entrants. Now it’s time to go enjoy the Hobby aspect of the game!
