Brent Ellison, Katie Fleming, and Noah Ward recently gave a Production Update (store updates, new PVE map, guild banners), played Eternal Crusade, and answered Q&A!
This episode had some new info for some of the cosmetic changes in the store. Lots of new items are on the way so you can tweak your character’s looks (which is obviously the most important part of any online game). They also showed off a handful of new Guild Banners for the Eldar that will eventually make their way into the game also. They look pretty detailed and they have plans to use them on characters and on the world map as well.
They also showcased a new PvE map – this time they played as Orks to take on the Tyranid incursion. The map they showed off was pretty dark with patches of light – I could see that being both thematic and creepy. Not being able to see the Tyranids because of the “mood lighting” does amp up some of the dread.
