This maquette from Sideshow will bring a smile to every fan’s face.
Brad Bird’s hand-drawn animated masterpiece got a fully restored and remastered blu-ray release last month. In conjunction with that Sideshow miniatures has released this highly detailed, massive maquette of the giant that fell to Earth. Their design and sculpting teams have done a nice job at bringing the spirit of the character to life here. The Giant is locked in a static pose, but he looks like he’s ready to jump off the base and go on an adventure.
