What Is It?
This is the new circle champion for Circle of Orboros. She is a solo that is FA:2. She costs 8 points. If you are looking for a high speed solo that can kill other annoying solos and get to extreme spots she is your girl.
What Does the Tharn Wolf Rider Champion Do?
The Tharn WRC is a nasty amazon warrior. She is armed with the standard RNG7 javelin and is POW9 weapon master. In melee she has a 1″ RNG and also POW9 weaponmaster. Her mount is POW12 for non charging/impact attacks.
Another respecatable thing about the Tharn WRC is these stats: SPD9 MAT/RAT 7 and DEF/ARM 14 with 8 boxes. She is hard to hit and might even live through an attack or 2 that does connect.
As any expensive solo she has a host of special rules.
- Annoyance: Living models will have trouble vs her
- Jump: This model can threathen 15″ melee when NOT charging. Shenanigans
- Quick Work: The value! Kill a model to get a shot to kill another.
- Reposition 5″: If she connects her charge she can end up moving 17″…that is only 1″ less when not running.
- Veteran Leader: She makes other wolf riders more accurate. I bet Kaya3 is a wolf rider too.
- Assault: If she kills with assault and kills with her melee attack and with quickshot she could take out 3 models not including possible impact attacks.
Lists with the Tharn WRC:
She is a great solo. Very versatile in all regards. She can snipe out enemy solos and get crazy distances to challenge zones and flags. Really, you can argue for her place in any list. Since she helps out Tharn wolf rider units lets pick a caster that can help them.
Grayle makes her insane with Storm Rage but, Tanith can add hitting power or debuffs to high ARM units making the wolf riders deadly to even ARM26 retribution sentinels.

Revenant’s Final Thought on the Tharn WRC:

She is sick and does sick things but Scarsfells exist. DEF15 vs living with decent armor is 8 boxes mean she is not dieing to things most foot solos would die to. Her SPD9 is crazy strong and she can contest/capture those flags zone that your opponent might have thought was safe. The only thing contesting her is that a Scarfells Griffon is the same point cost.
