AoS: New Stormcast Warscrolls Available
The Stormcast Eternal’s new calvary has arrived – come see what these new Gryph-chargers can do!
It’s going to be deadly beaks and claws – oh and don’t forget the riders. Games Workshop’s latest Stormcast units are ready to charge into the fray as well!

Vanguard-Palladors
The Vanguard-Palladors are some some faster moving Calvary for the Stormcasts. They lose a point of armor from their save but they gain an additional 2 inches of movement vs Dracoth riders. Their mounts are going to be just as deadly (possibly more so) than the riders in melee. And their “Ride the Winds Aetheric” ability is going to cause all kinds of redeployment shenanigans! Pick a direct, roll 6 dice and move that many inches – other caveats apply, but wow! that will get them moving.
Lord-Aquilor
The best comparison to this Lord-Aquilor is the Lord-Celestant on Dracoth. Statwise – the Lord-Aquilor just has 2 more inches of movement. He’s also got the new Heavy Boltstorm Pistol for attacking at range plus he’s got a few more attacks in melee – but they don’t hit quite as hard. That said, his abilities add some speed and utility to the field. The Astral Compass in combination with his Command Ability mean that he and another unit of Vanguard will be able to quickly redeploy on the side of the battlefield you need them. If you’re up against these guys be prepared to have units pop-up on your flanks!
Bonus: SLAMBO!
Slambo is certainly NOT a Stormcast Eternal, but his rules are out and available as well. I’m curious as to how his rules work with each other. If Glory-seeking Axeman stacks with Legendary Killer, there is a possibility that Slambo will get up to 24 attacks in one round – it’s a slim chance, but if he kills a Hero or Monsters at the end of one phase, then gets to charge another unit in the next combat phase…well, ouch. However, he’s not particularly fast or overly durable. If only Chaos had a way to “sail” him into combat…
When using Ride the Winds Aetheric On average I should go around 21″ *rolls dice*…and I just rolled a 32. Oops.
