GW: Rumor Engine “Twist to Open”

Games Workshop has unleashed another Rumor Engine and you need to put your shoulder into this one.

“Surprise – it’s a rumor!”

Let’s break this one down:

• It’s clearly mechanical in nature.
• It bears a strong resemblence to a safe or other locking mechanism, with the three upper and side locks designed to move in and out as the central gear is rotated.
• We can’t see the bottom of the bit, but it could clearly be a hatch on a vehicle, similar to what you see on military ships.

Clearly GW is moving into the 28mm WW2 ship model business and you can expect $2000 6″ long frigates soon…Or maybe it’s part of a new Duardin vehicle.
