This is another really well done book from Privateer Press. It’s got all the great lore and background for the faction plus each unit currently in the Circle arsenal gets some attention to boot. Oh and let’s not skip over all the rules, tips & tricks and the painting guide, too.
This book also has a pair of new Theme forces for Circle players to try out. Now, I’m not an expert at Circle but I have dabbled and both theme forces seem solid. One is focused on the Wolds and the other is more geared toward Warpbeasts. So which ever aspect of the Circle you like to play as, Privateer has you covered.
Overall, I’m liking these Command Books as a resources for the world of Warmachine/Hordes more than anything else. I like to learn about the history and the lore of Immoren as it helps to make the game world feel more alive. The Circle’s war is one that strives to maintain balance and the Blackclad Druids struggle both for and against the Wurm is really intriguing to me. Plus, I’ve always been a fan of those crazy Wold constructs! Circle Orboros Command is out and available in stores so go check it out for yourself!
