Dawn of War III: Spear of Khaine
The Open Beta kicks off today – but what the heck are we fighting for? The latest teaser video from Relic has hints at whats to come.

On April 27, the planet Acheron will emerge from the warp, bringing with it the mysterious Spear of Khaine – the powerful weapon that sets Dawn of War III in motion, drawing three familiar faces ever closer to their intertwined fates. But will these heroes rise to power, or be left bloodied in defeat.
Not much is known about the Planet Acheron. Just that it’s a cursed world that shows up from the Warp every 5000 years or so. It also has a “catastrophic weapon” that has lured in the Blood Ravens, Eldar, and the Orks. Could this “Spear of Khaine” be one of the missing Crone Blades? That would mean that this game is a direct tie-in with the Gathering Storm which would be pretty cool. Farseer Macha is a member of the Biel-Tan Craftworld after-all…
I guess we’ll have to wait for the full game launch to find out! In the meantime, the Open Beta starts TODAY! It’s free to sign-up and the download instructions/keys will be going out later.
