Tom Hardy is adding another super hero movie to his resume – this time for Marvel.
Sorry, Topher Grace, you are not reprising this role.

Sony’s attempt at making a worthwhile movie set in Spidey’s universe has gotten a good start – as good as can be when you’re talking about a Venom movie from Sony – with this bit of news. Ruben Fleischer is in the director’s chair; Jeff Pinkner (Amazing Spider-Man 2) and Scott Rosenberg (Con Air) are teaming up on the screenplay.
We’ll take a short musical break while you contemplate that list.

Sony’s track record is about as good as DC’s at this point. This could be a total long shot amazing movie, or entirely awful. I’m hoping for awesomely bad – in the realm of Highlander 3 not Highlander 2.
Thoughts?
