GW: Rumor Engine “Heavy is the Crown”

Games Workshop shows off a new teaser for an upcoming model and it looks… regal.

I hope you’re ready for another teaser/mystery from Games Workshop because this one could be a “crowning” achievement! …Or maybe it’s just a really fancy collar.

“Well, we haven’t seen this before… it could be anything.”

Well, they aren’t joking – it could be anything! But let’s take some wild guesses, shall we?

I’m leading toward a new Aelf model. Why? Because of the Gemstone on the front and the way the spikes are situated. They look a lot more ornate and less like they are used for stabbing. In fact, it really reminds me of one of my favorite models from Warhammer Quest:

Gemstone on the front with ornate spikes? Check and Check.

Now, obviously there is more to this one – It could also be a fancy collar or mantle. Really, it could also be for something in the 40k line just as easily. Heck, it could also be something completely different – like a bit on a vehicle! I guess we’ll have to wait and see when GW reveals the final model!
