Thunderhawk Gunship £450
The Thunderhawk Gunship fulfils a number of different strategic and tactical roles. Its primary mission is that of a drop ship but its utility does not end with the deployment of its lethal cargo of Space Marines, for it is a formidable heavy weapons platform in its own right. Equipped with a dorsal-mounted turbolaser, the Thunderhawk is able to engage targets as large as a Scout Titan or super-heavy tank as well as enemy fortifications. In addition to its main weaponry, the Thunderhawk mounts numerous heavy bolters with which it can scour a landing zone clear of enemy troops in a storm of mass reactive shells. An additional payload of wing-mounted missiles allows the gunship to operate in direct support of the squads it delivers into battle.
A frankly excessive amount of firepower strapped to an incredibly striking piece of Space Marines technology, this is the Thunderhawk Gunship; a Lords of War choice for a Legiones Astartes army list in games of The Horus Heresy and a Adeptus Astartes Strike Craft in Warhammer 40,000. Its brutalist, angular silhouette is broken up by a huge variety of weapons – the turbolaser mounted almost dead-centre is just the beginning, with 2 lascannon, 6 sets of missile pylons and numerous heavy bolters dotted about the wings and hull.
Particular care and attention has been paid to the power systems of this craft, with intakes, exhausts, air brakes and retrothrusters all where you would expect them to be. The attack wings, which each feature a heavy bolter turret, can be moved into either a stowed or attacking position, and the air brakes can be left open or closed. The front ramp can be opened and closed to disgorge the Thunderhawk’s cargo of Space Marines; of course, each of these movable components can be glued in the position of your preference. A pilot is included, who can easily be painted in the colours of your preferred Chapter.
This is a rather large resin kit, which comes as 112 components. Rules for its use are found in The Horus Heresy Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List and Imperial Armour – Index: Forces of the Adeptus Astartes.
Thunderhawk Gunship with Landing Pad £530
The Thunderhawk Gunship fulfils a number of different strategic and tactical roles. Its primary mission is that of a drop ship but its utility does not end with the deployment of its lethal cargo of Space Marines, for it is a formidable heavy weapons platform in its own right.
In this bundle, you’ll receive the Thunderhawk Gunship; a Lords of War choice for a Legiones Astartes army list in games of The Horus Heresy and a Adeptus Astartes Strike Craft in Warhammer 40,000 featuring a turbolaser, 2 lascannon, 6 sets of missile pylons and numerous heavy bolters dotted about the wings and hull, and a Realm of Battle Mars Pattern Imperialis Landing Pad, a 2’ x 2’ Realm of Battle tile made of lightweight, durable hollow resin large enough for the Thunderhawk Gunship to rest upon and disgorge its cargo of Space Marines into battle. The tile is designed to fit with other resin or plastic Realm of Battle tiles, meaning your new Thunderhawk Gunship will be at home in whichever battlefield you build.
The Thunderhawk comes as 112 components. Rules for its use are found in The Horus Heresy Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List and Imperial Armour – Index: Forces of the Adeptus Astartes.
Grombrindal And The Black Gobbo £20
Grombrindal’s reputation is almost mythological. Tales abound of his shrewd tactical advice on the field of battle; on the Blood Bowl pitch this translates to a mastery of team strategies and the ability to draw the very best out of the players around him.
The Black Gobbo is legendarily devious, as evidenced by his countless elaborate schemes to undermine the White Dwarf. Before he even thinks about setting foot on the pitch, it’s a given that he will have already established a web of bribery, hostage taking and other sneakiness that ensures the cooperation of the match officials.
Legendary heroes, this Star Player duo can be used in games of Blood Bowl as long as one player has a Dwarf, Halfling, Human or Norse team and the other has a Chaos Renegade, Goblin, Orc or Underworld Denizen team. They’re not hired in the same way as other Star Players – things like contract negotiations, legal issues or basic civility are pretty alien to them, honestly – and both must appear in your game.
Grombrindal is looking in fine form: his miniature features a splendid shock of white hair and a magnificent beard covering a purposeful scowl, with plenty of Dwarven iconography appearing on his kit. The Black Gobbo is appropriately robed and behatted, with sneakily studded armour beneath the robes – and a bomb. He’s clutching a bomb. That probably isn’t going to end well.
These resin miniatures come as 8 components, and are supplied with 2 32mm Blood Bowl bases. Their rules are available as a PDF download.

Grim Ironjaw £18
The Slayer Cult is a strange but well-documented aspect of life for a Dwarf, seen as the only option for those who have committed a shameful act. Shedding their worldly possessions and symbolically greasing their hair with pig fat, these contrite Dwarfs seek only a pure death in combat against the most terrifying foes imaginable. Traditionally, they had sought their fate on the battlefield, but all of that changed when Grim Ironjaw joined the Black Mountain Blades.
Following a successful first season, Ironjaw spent several years moving from team to team, always striving to move up in the league rankings. After all, as he saw it, the most glorious death to be found on the pitch must surely be at the Blood Bowl itself, facing off against one of the NAF’s most accomplished teams. In the years since he has yet to compete in the fabled tournament, but with each passing season, his chances are greater and his legend grows ever more impressive. Who knows – maybe this is his year!
Field Grim Ironjaw as a Star Player in your Dwarf Blood Bowl team with this resin kit. He’s a particularly stocky example of Dwarf strength, with bulging muscles beneath a frankly glorious beard featuring plaited-in details (skulls! He has skulls in his beard!) His mohawk is tall, and his fist clutches a terrifying-looking blade – truly, he’s an all-crushing Slayer and a half.
This resin miniature comes as 5 components, and is supplied with a 32mm Blood Bowl base. Rules for Grim Ironjaw can be found in Death Zone Season 1.
Blood Bowl Skaven Team Booster £20
Skaven society is highly stratified and bound up in complex rituals, but on the Blood Bowl pitch, all barriers drop away as every player gives their all for their team’s complete and utter victory. The game has become very popular in all fields of Skaven life – the Skaven loving any opportunity for mindless violence. In fact, it has been very difficult to persuade them that there is any other purpose to the game once they are on the field, or even when they are just spectating in the stands! Some of the great all-time Player Death and Crowd Death records have occurred in games in which the Skaven have been on the pitch.
Expand, enhance, fill out and indeed boost your Skaven team with this booster pack! It contains 4 resin miniatures – 2 Gutter Runners, a Blitzer and a Thrower – each covered in detail and posed dynamically, with all the billowing cloaks, sinister hoods, sharpened teeth and ghastly claws you’d expect. the Blitzer is a particular standout: not content with his own natural claws, he’s added pointy things to nearly every surface of his body and armour he can…
These 4 resin miniatures come as 14 components, and are supplied with 4 32mm Blood Bowl bases. Skaven team rules can be found in Death Zone Season 1.
The All-Star Skavenblight Scramblers £78
The only team to have ever won the Blood Bowl trophy two years on the run (Blood Bowl XVII and XVIII, fact fans,) the Skavenblight Scramblers are at least a bit legendary. They’ve had a run of bad luck since then, but since the recent appointment of their new head coach Sandch Blackpelt, they’ve seen a new lease of life…
Should you be looking to assemble the very finest Skaven team you can, you could do worse than this bundle. In it, you’ll receive:
– The Skavenblight Scramblers, a multi-part plastic kit containing 2 Blitzers, 2 Throwers, 2 Gutter Runners and 6 Linemen and a roster sheet, along with with a transfer sheet, turn markers, extra balls and 12 32mm Blood Bowl bases;
– A Rat Ogre, a resin miniature in 9 components who can be fielded as a Big Guy in Skaven teams;
– A Skaven Team Booster, 4 resin miniatures for team enhancement: 2 Gutter Runners, a Blitzer and a Thrower
– Hakflem Skuttlespike, a resin miniature in 10 components who can be fielded as a Skaven Star Player.
Rules for the Skaven team are available in the Blood Bowl boxed game, and rules for the Rat Ogre are found in Death Zone Season 1.
