Geekery: ‘Mask of the Phantasm’ Blu-Ray Announced
One of the best Batman movies ever made is being remastered for blu-ray.
If you’re a fan of Batman the Animated series, and what some of us see as the character’s early 1990s heyday, your week just got better. Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is getting a 1080p HD remaster, which is going to be a feat due to it being pre-digital animation. It’s going to be worth it, though. It’s a solid story, the voice acting is top notch (Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill meet again), and it’s got that great art style that made the Animated Series so great.
When the city’s most feared gangsters are systematically eliminated, the Caped Crusader is blamed.
