Wizards of the Coast has a new set of Character Sheets with a handy Player Folder – come take a look inside!
Our Friends at Dragon’s Lair Comics & Fantasy stopped by to show off a new product from Wizards of the Coast. The D&D Character Sheets Folder is a great pick-up if you’re needing some extra storage for your paper sheets – and it’s got some handy cheat-sheets for new players too:
Now, I know what you might be thinking, “AdamHarry, why the heck would I want to pick-up these sheets?” Well, they are super handy for one! Not everyone has a printer or access to a one and did you know some stores even charge folks to print out Character Sheets? Plus there are different types of sheets in the packet. Now, if you’re internet-fu is strong enough you can find these sheets on Wizard’s website to print off for yourself, so ya – maybe these sheets aren’t needed by everyone. But there are a lot of folks out there who will want them.
If you have never played D&D before, having this folder will make your life easier. While it’s a simple two-pocket folder, it’s a great place to store all those papers for the “pen-and-paper” part of RPGing. On top of the fact that you get a ton of character sheets, inside the folder you’ll find some handy-dandy tables and player “cheat-sheets” for quick reference. This part of the product is super useful for new players. Heck, even veteran players screw up rules sometime and having a quick reference is just plain handy
Overall, the variant sheets are cool enough by themselves, but really I like the folder more. If you have a printer and have been playing for years then you probably don’t need this one. However, if you’re looking for something to help out new players in your group or if you just need more sheets then pick this one up. It’s in stores officially June 20th!
