GW: Rumor Engine “Tentacle Time”
Games Workshop has a new teaser out and this one is pretty fishy…
“This week’s Rumour Engine is a real brain-tickler – what could it be?”
We have a Tentacle – but what does it mean? My first thoughts go toward something with a sea theme – that could be anything ranging from Black Ark Corsairs to other various sea monsters like a Hydra. However, this could also be some type of chaos warp-mutation. That opens up a whole new side of things. The Chaos Spawn come to mind as well as other mutated chaos units like Possessed. At the same time, this tentacle bit doesn’t look as aggressive as a warp-spawned mutation. Sure it’s got spikes, but it’s not a lithe or as gruesome as some other chaos-type bits. This one looks a bit more “natural” for lack of a better word. Also it’s connected to another tentacle so this might be part of an octopus bit. Then again, it could also be an icon or trophy that was cut off and taken as a prize.
The mystery of the tentacle really is a brain-tickler, isn’t it? It could fit into either system (AoS or 40k) – and we haven’t even mentioned some of the board games (like Blood Bowl). I’m stumped on this one!
